Minecraft 1.6 is out, with maps and tall grass, check out the vid

Mincraft as seen a small increment in build number, mostly fixing some bugs and then fixing some more, now at 1.6.4 in the same day. The biggest funcional additions are the map which shows general layout of the surrounding area when the player has it in hand i believe, didn’t seem to update when just inthe inventory, possible that it may if in the main ten quick access inventory, though not thuroughly tested. The seeds no longer appear when using a hoe on the turf blocks, and are now found in long grass instead. To find long grass you may have to generate a new biome, haven’t yet seen grass close to home.
