SEGA In Box-Stuffing Scandal

Sonic Generations Limited Merch

SEGA has been implicated in a horrendous animal cruelty suit after rumours began to circulate that they’d been stuffing multiple hedgehogs into vicious little boxes. And, by God if they haven’t rammed a load of commemorative hijinx in there too – leaving sod all room for those little critters to move. Let alone breathe.

The dogs.

But before we bore you to tears with our pathetic japery – or more importantly before SEGA hit us with a defamation suit – here’s the wonderful truth: Sonic Generations fans will be getting a beast of a Collector’s Edition when the game is release on November 4th.

SEGA’s bigass package will be delivered in lovely lenticular packaging, include a load of freebie DLC, and sport a host of collectible goodies from a (admittedly grotesque) figurine featuring both Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic, an exclusive, individually numbered commemorative “Gold Ring”, and a “20 Years of Sonic Art” book, containing never before seen sketches and images from the past 20 years. Even better, this box of delights comes with a ‘20th Anniversary Sonic Soundtrack’ featuring a selection of tracks handpicked by Sonic Team, and the ‘History of Sonic: Birth of an Icon’ documentary, an exclusive collection of interviews and footage charting Sonic’s life from bawling blue hogbaby to spiky global superstar.

Which is all wonderful – as long as the game is good, huh? Over to you, SEGA.
